Rhoda Mott
1961 ~ 2023
It is with a broken heart that John announces the passing of his loving wife, Rhoda Ann Mott. She passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the age of 62 years. Along with John, left with years of memories and love are her parents, Doug and Maxine Harrigan; three children, Brandi (Curtis) and her daughter, Danika, Kaela (Chance) and their children, Ethan, Grace and Wren, Byron and his children, Lincoln, Oaklyn and Oliver; brother, Kent (Cheryl); John’s sisters, Gail and Louanne as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rhoda was a warrior! Not only did she fight like hell these last 9 years with cancer but she has always went to war for the people she loved. She always stood up for what she believed was right and has never been scared to tell you how she felt. Rhoda always put her family first… and to her grandchildren, she was number one! A Celebration of Rhoda’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 75, 218 Maple Street, Maple Creek, SK., on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting www.cooksouthland.com) Honoured to serve the family is Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, Crematorium & Reception Facility, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4V4.
