1961 ~ Phyllis McKenzie ~ 2020

Phyllis Irene Theresa McKenzie of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the age of 58 years. She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Laura McKenzie of Coaldale and Shane (Lyndsey) McKenzie of Medicine Hat and their father Jay McKenzie of Lethbridge; two grandchildren, Nixon and Parker McKenzie; three sisters, Pat (Ron) Foley of Maidstone, Bev (Mark) Schiebelbein of Medicine Hat and Sharon (Jim) Squires of Swift Current; three brothers, Dale Klink of Shaunavon, Joe Klink of Shaunavon and Richard (Toni) Klink of Swift Current as well as her close friend Lloyd Street and his family. She was predeceased by her parents Pearl and Casper Klink; one brother Darcy on July 12, 1977 and a sister-in-law Susan Klink. Phyllis was born and raised in Shaunavon and moved to Alberta in 1980. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Lynn McKinnon officiating. Due to restrictions in place regarding COVID- 19 from the Chief Medical Officer of Health – funeral services are now limited to no more than 100 attendees including family and funeral home staff. Family and Friends are invited to remotely attend any public funeral service at our facility through live streaming on our website. Interment will take place in the Hillcrest Cemetery at Shaunavon, Saskatchewan on a later date. In lieu of flowers, enjoy a beer and celebrate your fond memories of Phyllis.
