Paul Kenneth McLennan, beloved husband of Julie McLennan, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the age of 80 years. Along with Julie, his loving wife of 24 years, left to cherish his memory are his sons, Darren (Jenny) and Duane (Buffie) as well as his grandchildren, Magnus, Ava and Jenna. He was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Alice McLennan and his brother, Ken McLennan. Paul was born and raised in London, Ontario, and at the age of 21, joined the RCMP. After recruit training, his first posting was Swan River, Manitoba, and up until 1996, he was posted to many detachments within “D” Division (Manitoba). In 1994, Paul was Commissioned to the rank of Inspector whereupon he was transferred to “K” Division, Edmonton. In 1996, Paul transferred to i/c Fort McMurray Detachment. He retired from the Force in 2002, whereupon he and Julie moved to St. Albert and he was a driver instructor until he fully retired in 2010, when they moved to Medicine Hat. To honour Paul’s wishes, no formal funeral will be held and he will be laid to rest at the RCMP cemetery at Depot Division in Regina.
