It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Patricia May Tate, announce her unexpected passing on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the age of 75 years. She was a beloved mother, friend, and cherished member of the Medicine Hat community. Born and raised in Medicine Hat, Pat was a beacon of kindness and warmth. Her love for gardening was well-known; her garden was always filled with vibrant flowers and lush greenery, a reflection of the beauty she brought into the lives of those around her. She had an extraordinary way with people and animals alike, and her gentle spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Pat was a devoted mother and friend who lived her life with an open heart, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, generosity, and compassion will continue to bloom in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She is survived by her children, Michelle and RK along with their families who will hold her memory close, forever. May she rest in peace and may her garden forever bloom in our hearts. A Celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street SW, Medicine Hat on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Murray Jaster officiating. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so beginning one hour prior to the service from 12 noon to 12:55 p.m. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery following the service.
