‘The Little English Lady’ Patricia (Pat) Coleman, beloved wife of the late William Coleman, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her son, David; daughter, Jenine (Mark) Scheuerman both of Medicine Hat; grandsons, Cole (Michelle) Scheuerman of Melbourne, Australia and Scott (Jenny) Scheuerman of Nantong, China; 4 great-grandchildren, Shannon, Julian, Alexandria and Nora as well as a sister and brother in the UK. She was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill). Mom was born in Sussex, England. She immigrated to Canada in 1958 with a toddler and infant in tow, to be with Dad who immigrated a few months before. Mom loved working in her garden and swimming at the Hill pool everyday during the summer. Mom and Dad lived in their house for 60+ years before moving to the Wellington. For the past 3 years, Mom has resided at AgeCare Valleyview. She always referred to herself as the “little English lady’” and will be remembered as such. “Death is just one step in your soul’s journey through the universe.” A private graveside service will take place at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial donations in Pat’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
