It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Nancy Joan Ingram on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the age of 60 years. Nancy was born in Brooks, Alberta to Oliver and Irene Ingram. Nancy spent her summers at the cabin at Lake Newell and then lived a fulfilling life in group homes in Medicine Hat and spent her days at C.O.R.E. where she learned so much. Nancy became such a character and even helped in the office there. She went on to live in individual caregiver’s homes and was so much a very big part of their families. Nancy was predeceased by her parents Oliver and Irene Ingram; her niece, Amy Stearns; and her nephew, Joey Stearns. She is survived by one sister, Jane Stearns McKay; her brothers-in-law, Hugh McKay and Mike Stearns; one nephew, Daniel McKay; one niece, Emily McKay; her aunt, Rose Lincoln as well as her uncle, Doug Ingram. Nancy will be sorely missed by a huge circle of extended family and friends, as she touched everyone she met with a sense of humor, wit, and her love of animals. A special thank you to the C.O.R.E. staff and peers for being so much a part of her family. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. Due to the restrictions brought forward by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, indoor public gatherings are to be kept to 50 people. Masks are mandatory. The service will be live streamed, and family and friends who are unable to attend are invited to watch the service by searching for the Pattison Funeral Home Youtube page. The video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time and willremain on the youtube page for future viewing. Interment will take place at a later date.
