Monika Maria Pachan, Moni to many, passed away at the age of 68 on the morning of Monday, June 8, 2026. Monika was widowed to Keith Berge, and she is survived by her son Jared Pachan. She was sister to Matthias, Uwe, and Michael, and daughter to Klaus and Rita Pachan. Monika emigrated from Germany to Canada in 1963 with her family and her Uncle Heinz, Klaus’s brother. She is greatly missed. A private family service was held in Medicine Hat on Saturday, June 20, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held for friends in Edmonton at a later date.
