Mrs. Mary Ann Gehring, beloved wife of the late Mr. Emil Gehring, passed away with family by her side while at the Bow Island Health Centre on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the age of 89 years. Left to cherish Mary’s memory are her four daughters: Diana (Vic) Marion, Sandra (Clarence) Archer, Wanda (Terry) Lane and Michelle LeBlanc; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters, Clara, Josephine, Lena and Jean as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with Emil, Mary was predeceased by her parents, one sister and a brother. Mary was born in Schuler, Alberta on May 26, 1929. She married Emil on September 23, 1947, and together they made their home in Pivot, Alberta. They lived there a number of years before moving to Lemsford, Saskatchewan and thereafter to Medicine Hat. The last five years, up until her passing, Mary was residing at the Pleasant View Lodge in Bow Island. As per her wishes, Mary’s life will be honoured and her memory cherished without the proceedings of a formal funeral.
