Martha Jans

1944 ~ 2019

Martha Jans beloved wife of the late Lyn Jans, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at the age of 75 years. Martha was born in Naaldwyk, Holland on May 28, 1944. In 1951, she moved from Holland to Taber, AB. and then to Redcliff in 1954. Her formative years and schooling were all in Redcliff. Martha is survived by her siblings, Casey (Jenny) Stigter, Audrey Hazelaar, Harry (Dianne) Stigter, Peter Stigter; sisters-in-law, Vi Rieger, Fran Crane, Alice Stigter and brother-in-law, Wally (Pam) Jans as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Arie and Maria Stigter; husband, Lyn; brother, Lane; sister, Ria and sister-in-law, Florence Stigter. The Celebration of Martha’s Life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Martha’s name may be made directly to the Gideons International In Canada, P.O.
