1967 ~ Marni Pruden ~ 2022
Marni Gaye Margaret Pruden passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the age of 55 years, beloved wife of Tim Pruden of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory their son Tanner (Sydney) Pruden; three grandchildren, Bo, Judah and Everly; her parents Bobbi and Ken Bradshaw; two brothers Curtis (Loretta) Bradshaw and Mark (Jennifer) Bradshaw; her nieces and nephews, Cullen (Claire) Bradshaw, Connor (Brooke, their daughter Charli); Tyler (Jenna) Bradshaw, Brianna Bradshaw and Brooklyn Bradshaw. Marni was born on June 18, 1967 in Medicine Hat where she was raised. On July 13, 1991, she married Tim. Graduating in 1989, with a degree in education, Marni began teaching at Ross Glen school, moving on to Southview School at which time Tanner was born. She returned to teaching which took her to Crestwood School for many years, finishing her career at the Hub. A big part of life for Marni and Tim was spent following Tanner wherever playing hockey took him. Teaching was her passion and she remained involved with her students whether at school or on her own time. This was especially true in the past years where she learned to adapt to the “online” world and help her students with that process. Marni retired from teaching on June 30, 2022. Her grandchildren were an important part of her life and she finally got the gift of a granddaughter just 6 weeks ago. Marni’s gift of caring and compassion will be missed by all who knew her. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (238 2nd Ave N.E.) on Monday, July 18, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Roque Pereira Celebrant. Personal tributes will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the mass to follow. The service will be live streamed, and family and friends who are unable to attend are invited to watch the service by searching for the Pattison Funeral Home Youtube page. The video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time and will remain on the Youtube page for future viewing. Those who wish to remember Marni with a donation, may do so to the Medicine Hat Public School Education Foundation (https://www.mhpsd.ca/education-foundation).
