Mark Asham has lived in Medicine Hat since 1997 and says there’s no other place he would have preferred to raise his family.

Even before moving here, Asham was a volunteer for many non-profits and their boards. He says those experiences taught him about fiscal responsibility, vision casting, strategic planning and more.

He says integrity and transparency define who he is.

He believes it’s time to rebrand Medicine Hat to facilitate economic and population growth, attract and keep youth and young adults in the community, keep the publicly-owned utilities and provide recreation facilities for healthy lifestyles.
