It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Marjorie Helen Loranger (née Sailer) on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the age of 79 years.
Marje leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, David; son, Robert of Medicine Hat; daughter, Michelle Bierwirth, and grandchildren Teannia and Colton of Kamloops, BC.
Marje had a long and productive life filled with love and good times. Marje was married to her beloved husband David in 1978 and together, they provided a safe and loving home for their two children. Marje loved her job as a funeral attendant at Pattison Funeral Home. She was a hard working and dedicated employee for over 25 years. Additionally, she enjoyed working at various flower shops in Medicine Hat.
Her greatest joy was working with her husband David in their shop and painting the projects Dave had crafted. She also accompanied him on his many trips for their courier business (many times including a Chinese food meal as a treat). Marje was selfless when it came to helping others, many times volunteering her time and talents. She would do all she could to help friends and family when they needed
it.
Cremation has taken place. A private gathering will be held in the new year. The family wish to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of 4 West and ICU at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital for the wonderful care Marje received while there.
