Marion Margaret Whyte, beloved wife of Wayne Whyte of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, July 31st, 2017 at the age of 66 years. Marion also leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Laura Whyte (Michael Velthuis Kroeze); three brothers, Bob Hall, Rod (Sara) Hall and Jim (Donna) Hall; three sisters, Ann Gramm, Shelley (Ken) Foley and Pat Hall; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Muriel Hall; her brother, Craig Hall; and her sister, Karen Hall. Marion was born on May 24th, 1951 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan to a family of Sight Nurses. She traveled and worked at various hospitals throughout the western provinces. Marion volunteered for the Girl Guides and held various positions with the organization. She was a Block Mom to everyone in their neighborhood and will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Wednesday, August 9th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Bob Findley officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Memorial gifts in Marion’s memory may be made to the Girl Guides of Canada, Cypress Hills area, Box 502, Redcliff, Alberta T0J 2P0.
