Louise Reisdorf

Louise Reisdorf passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019, at the age of 88 years, beloved wife of Ewald Reisdorf of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory their son-in-law Greg Dyck; and two grandchildren, Cole (Rose) Dyck and Jayme Dyck (Chantal Craig). She was predeceased by her parents, Rudolph and Olga Nisquiski; her step-father, John Thomme; two daughters, Barbara Reisdorf on April 3, 2006 and Marilyn Dyck on June 7, 2017; one sister Adeline (Art) Ziegenhagel. Louise was born on April 15, 1930, and after the war she emmigrated from the Ukraine with her mother and sister settling in Medicine Hat. She met Ewald and they were married on July 28, 1954 in Medicine Hat. She raised their daughters and worked for a time at the Medical Arts Clinic. She was a longtime faithful member of Grace Baptist Church and later Temple Baptist Church. Louise was an excellent cook and enjoyed keeping her house, helping raise her grandsons and travelling to warmer temperatures when she could. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the Temple Baptist Church from 12:30 to 1:25 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Temple Baptist Church (606 7th Street SW) on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Bob McGougan officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
