1940 – Lorraine Ries – 2021

Lorraine Anne Ries passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 80 years, beloved wife of Adam Ries of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory her children, Raymond (Deanna) Ries and Christine (Dwayne) Oshowy; her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Brett (Tiffany; Lily Rae and Cooper); Dakota (Kiel; Hazel Mae); Jenden (Raelynne); Colton; Ginger and Lyle; three brothers, Joe Wagner, Raymond (Helen) Wagner and Pius Wagner; two sisters, Clara (Bill) Blore and Betty Scherger as well as brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Philomina and Lucas Wagner; one son Anthony, one grandson Scott, one brother Tony Wagner and a sister Katherine Schmidt. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road S.E.) on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Iqbal Khurshid celebrant.
