Leonard Klaudt passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at the age of 88 years, beloved husband of Esther Klaudt of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory two children, Randy (Sheila) Klaudt of Medicine Hat and Lorie (Harold) Pfeifer of Elkwater; four granddaughters, Alison Pfeifer, Kristen (Christopher) Faxon, Justine (Jeff) Enslen (their daughter Grace), and Haley Klaudt; two brothers, Herb Klaudt and Edwin (Della) Klaudt; three sisters, Emma Tschritter, Frieda Jeske and Lorraine Rathwell all of Medicine Hat; his sister-in-law Ann Jeske, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Hulda and Emanuel Klaudt; his brother Richard Klaudt, his sister Evelyn Spiry, and his brother-in-law Harvey Mock. The Klaudt family would like to thank the nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Carmel Hospice for the way they cared for Leonard and his family during his stay. A private family graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery.
