Laurel Relke

1954 ~ 2023

Laurel Annette Relke passed away at South Country Village in Medicine Hat on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the age of 68 years. Born in Ottawa, Ontario to David and Ruth Relke, Laurel grew up in many places due to her father’s military career in the Canadian Air Force. She was a lover of creative arts, especially of painting and photography, and enjoyed many other varieties of pass times from music to astronomy. Laurel is survived by: son, Benjamin John Relke; daughter, Shelah Fawcett; sisters, Audrey Nelson and Cynthia Schulz as well as her friend, Joe Talarico. A private graveside service will be held in the coming days.
