Laura May Meyer of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the age of 81 years, beloved wife of the late Alexander “Sandy” Meyer. She leaves to cherish her memory four children Clark Meyer, Chuck Meyer, Clint Meyer and Sandra May Bergdahl; her grandchildren Dayna, Jeremy, Josh, Talissa, Sasha, Alius, Angelina, Amber, Adrien and numerous great grandchildren. Laura was born on May 18, 1942. Her parents Henry and Ella Mahaffy, her brother Earl, Sandy and Laura all had season tickets to the Medicine Hat Tigers games; were Flames fans – they loved their hockey. They had many many friends over the years whom they enjoyed spending time with. Not only was she always a loving wife and mother, she was a wonderful Grandma who loved her grand-babies with her whole heart. Laura was a dedicated home care provider for 31 years. She loved caring for people and was loved by many in her profession, the people she cared for and by those she worked with. She will be missed by so many. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Friday, January 12, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. David Pollard officiating. A private interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
