Katherine passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the age of 74 years. She is survived by her two daughters, two sons-in-law and four grandsons – Leanne, Shaun, Samuel and Nolan Calderwood of Kelowna; Jennifer, Hugh, Holden and Joel Lehr of Medicine Hat; her brother David (Debbie) Klymchuk of Regina; nephew Lyndon (Beth) Klymchuk and their children Oliver and Emily of Regina; niece Kimberley (Brennan) Kuny and their daughter Cleo of Saskatoon; Aunt Anne Baier of Medicine Hat; Aunt Alice Graham of Edmonton; Uncle Eugene Klymchuk of Nanaimo; cousins; Leanne and Jennifer’s father Jerry (Paulette) Zezulka and his family. Katherine was predeceased by her parents Russell and Marie Klymchuk. Thank you to all her friends for the laughter, the tears and the prayers, especially her best friend for 60 years, Virginia Davies. Vigil Prayers will be recited at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 238 – 2 Avenue N.E., Medicine Hat on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Father Roque Pereira celebrant and interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Katherine’s memory to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, P.O.
