Judy Schwengler

1948 ~ 2024

Judy Caroline Schwengler (nee Wiese) passed away in Medicine Hat on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the age of 75 years. She is survived by Jerry, her loving husband of 56 years; daughters, Lori (Roger) Wallin and Jackie (Larry) Kielo as well as her grandchildren, Hannah and Zachary Kielo. She was predeceased by her parents, Hilbert and Hilda Wiese. Judy was born in Leader, SK., on November 6, 1948. Following her marriage to Jerry Schwengler in May 1968, they then moved to Regina, SK., to start their family. In 1976, they settled in Fox Valley to raise their children, Lori and Jackie. Judy worked at the Fox Valley Credit Union until her retirement. Jerry and Judy moved to Medicine Hat in 2017. Some of Judy’s favourite pastimes included reading, watching movies, playing bingo and snuggling with her dog, Casey. Judy requested that no formal service be held in her memory. Dignified cremation has taken place.
