Joyce Elaine Bancescu of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday March 22, 2017, at the age of 79 years, beloved wife of the late Gus Bancescu. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Shirley Ann (Bill) Kuntz, Mary Lou (Will) Collie, and Jeff Bancescu; eight grandchildren, Corey, Cameron, Jeremy, Ryan, Brady, Brendan, Tanner and Riley. She was predeceased by parents, George “Jake” and Claria Armstrong; her husband Gus Bancescu on March 20, 2005; and one son, Gardelle Bancescu on November 25, 2011. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday evening, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The graveside service will be held in the Ravenscrag Cemetery (Saskatchewan) on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend.
