John Klaiber of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Lauren (Marc) Fourrier and Reese (Carla) Klaiber; five grandchildren Natalie Fourrier, Jocelyn Albers, Morgan Klaiber-Nasse, Hayden Klaiber and Autumn Klaiber; a great granddaughter Kinsley Fourrier and one sister Doreen Munro. John was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Hertha Klaiber; one son Neil Klaiber and two sisters Ida Heidinger-Hust and Eileen Frank. John was born 89 years ago on the family ranch south of Medicine Hat, in the Ranchville area. In his childhood, they moved to another farm/ranch south of Medicine Hat along the Black and White Trail. Over many years, John expanded the ranch to the southwest, and began a partnership with his sons. John loved his family, his ranch, his cattle and horses. He worked tirelessly doing what he loved, and was a genuine cowboy. John was a soft spoken and respected cattleman. He will be truly missed by his family, friends and neighbors. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. with Life Celebrant Pat Grisonich officiating.
