Johanna Elizabeth Baiton of Medicine Hat passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the age of 84 years, beloved wife of the late John Baiton. She leaves to cherish her memory six children, Richard (Ellen) Baiton, Roxanne (Scott) Harkness, Hope (Blaine) Fairbrother, Russell Baiton, Mikhaela (Dan) Jennings, and Darcy Baiton; twelve grandchildren, Leander (Alynne) and their child, Max; Tyler (Kat), Christina (Cornell), Troy (Jodi) and their children, Olivia and Keaton; Craig (Samantha), Sylva, John, Jayla (Ali), Jennifer, Dustin (Alannah) and their children, Scarlette and Thomas; Joshua, and Danielle (Matt); two brothers, John (Marguerite) Rehm and Wilfred (Grace) Rehm; one sister, Helen Baiton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Joseph Rehm; her husband, John Baiton; one grandchild, Jevon; one great grandchild, Trai; and her sister, Annie. The tribute and funeral service will be held in Holy Family Parish on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 beginning at 10:50 a.m. with Father Iqbal Khurshid celebrant. Due to the restrictions brought forward by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, indoor public gatherings are to be kept to 50 people. Masks are mandatory.
