Mr. Jim Dimitrios Roussos passed away in Medicine Hat on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the age of 75 years. The man with his little white dog that everyone who had a chance to meet, immediately liked him. Jim emigrated from Syros, Greece to Toronto, Canada where he made his new home. He came to Canada by choice. Jim survived many challenges with his many health issues over the years. He was known as the Pizza Guy, where he made many friends through his business ‘Yannis’ until his health forced him to quit. Jim loved his pets and always had treats for them on a daily basis. He will be forever remembered in the hearts of his loving wife, Corrine Bischoff; children, Antonia Roussos and Antonios Roussos; step-sons, Kurtis Stubert and James Stubert; his loyal puppy, Ruby; brother, Yannis (Linda) Roussos; sister, Maria Fantopoulos; niece, Irene Fantopoulos and nephew, Antonio Fantopoulos. Jim was predeceased by his parents; Antonios and Antoinette; son, Yannis ‘John’ Roussos; step-son, Travis Stubert and brother-in-law, George Fantopoulos. A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, on Friday, January 18, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Jim’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
