Jakob “Jake” Schmidt of Medicine Hat passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at the age of 90 years, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Liz” Schmidt. He leaves to cherish his memory four children, Terry Gill, Karen Schmidt, Rosemary Nickel, and Debbie Schank and their families. Along with his wife, he was predeceased by his parents George and Carolina Schmidt. In keeping with his wishes, he has been privately interred with his wife in Hillside Cemetery.
