Jack Nicoll
1959 ~ 2018
The convoy to Heaven has welcomed one of the best on life’s highway. Jack passed away on January 6, 2018, at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital after a hard fought battle with cancer. Along with his beloved wife, the love of his life, Robin, Jack leaves to mourn his passing: parents, Tom and Arlene Nicoll; brother, Rick Nicoll (friend, Roseann Selinger) and sister-in-law, Randi Ulmer. He also leaves to mourn his passing a special “niece”, Lacey Holowaty; aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends all over Western Canada; especially his treasured German Shepherd, Skye. Waiting to greet Jack are his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and his cherished friends and pets that have gone before him. To all who knew him in the trucking industry and beyond, Jack was always there when someone needed him. His quick wit, hard work ethic and generous nature were well known to everyone in his life. Jack never expected anything in return and if you knew him, he considered you his friend. A time of visitation will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, on Friday, January 12, 2018, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and then again on Saturday, January 13, 2018, beginning at 12:00 p.m. The Celebration of Jack’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Jack’s name may be made directly to the Rescue Pet Society (Persian Dreams and Canine Themes) or to the SPCA.
