Inge Louise Piche passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Friday, September 30, 2022, at the age of 62 years. Inge’s memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of her daughters, Melanie (Cory) Bayer, Trudi Piche and Kimberly Piche (Austin Little); step-daughter, Trina Piche and her son, Raven; sister, Mary (Gilles) Scheger as well as numerous cousins and family in England and Alberta. Inge was born and raised in Taber. After graduating in 1977, she moved to Medicine Hat where she gained employment at various places. Inge excelled in an Office Technology course at the Medicine Hat College as she was very smart and had an amazing memory. She spent many years volunteering at her daughter’s schools, church and the senior’s centre. Inge worked at Superstore for the past 14 years where she gained many friendships. Playing tennis, bicycling, reading, skating, walks outside and drinking coffee were just a few of Inge’s hobbies. She was a great Mom who loved her daughters immensely as she devoted the second half of her life to raising them. ‘Inge will always be our sunshine’ as she was very appreciative and treasured the little things in life.
