Ida Mary Pittman passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the age of 66 years. Left to cherish Ida’s memory are her sons, Scott (Tammy) and Shannon (Jenn); daughters, Lisa and Jackie; grandchildren, Devon, Kelsey, Cody, Jayda, Hope, Paula, Megan, Ryder, Scotty, Olivia and Chloe as well as her great-grandchildren, Kaisley, Kanon, Elijah, Elizabeth, Kiera, Cade and Jack.  Also left to remember Ida are her brothers, Anthony (Sarah), Philip (Stella), Richard (Julie) and John (Angela); sisters, Elizabeth (Joe) and Ann; besties, Sonia and Ina as well as many other relatives and friends who were touched by her loving spirit. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth; sister, Rose; brother, Patrick and spouse, Mike Yon. Ida was known for her sharp wit, quick tongue and infectious humour which brought joy and laughter to all those around her. Her beautiful spirit, kindness and generosity inspired countless individuals and her legacy will live on through the memories and stories shared by those who loved her. Ida’s strength and resilience in the face of adversity were a testament to her unwavering spirit. Though she earned her wings long before she left this earth, compassion and devotion to her family and friends will never be forgotten. Rest in peace. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Ida’s life will be held at a later date where friends and family will gather to share stories, memories and condolences.
