January 18, 1939 – June 15, 2025
It is with heavy hearts the family of Henry Barbier announces his passing in Medicine Hat on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the age of 86 years. Henry had a short but courageous battle with cancer that lasted officially 2 1/2 weeks. Ultimately, Henry spent his final hours with family and friends and passed with dignity in the embrace of his wife, Patricia. Henry wore many hats during his lifetime. He was an amazing farmer, an auctioneer and pilot. He loved fixing things and solving problems. He was also a man of great faith. His memory will be cherished in the hearts of his wife, Patricia; sister-in-law, Clara; nephew, Alan (Denise) and family; niece, Phyllis (Scott) Thomas and family. He was predeceased by his father, François (1952), mother, Henriette (1988), his first wife, Doris (Zacharias) (1985) and his brother, John (2023). – Celebrating Henry’s Life – Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jamie McDonald officiating. Interment to take place at Hillside Cemetery with a reception to follow.
