1931 ~ Gordon Hodgson ~ 2021

Gordon Gerald Hodgson of Bow Island passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the age of 90 years, beloved husband of the late Michaline “Lee” Hodgson. He leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Norman (Susan) Hodgson of Blind Bay, British Columbia; one sister, Gail (Lee Gibson) Lane-Gibson of Bow Island; and one sister-in-law, Anne Hodgson of Bow Island; and one aunt, Ruth Haddow of Lethbridge; nine nieces and nephews, Roxanne Thacker (Rodger Herring), Wayne Hodgson, Geraldine (Greg) Rye, Robert (Stacey) Gilbert, Nathan (Jennifer) Hodgson, Aaron Hodgson (Tracee Brees), Clayton (Kimberly) Hodgson, Brenna (Evan) Douglas, Chantel (Everett) Timmons, and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Lee Hodgson in 2002; his parents, Gladys and Jerold Hodgson; one brother, Clifford (Giselle) Hodgson and two sisters, Betty Jo Gilbert (Martin Parent) and Maxine Hodgson in infancy. Prior to Lee’s passing, the two of them travelled extensively. Gordon returned to Bow Island in November of 2018, after living in Edmonton for many years. A private family graveside service will take place in the Bow Island Cemetery. Memorial donations in Gordon’s name may be made to the Bow Island Health Centre or an SPCA of choice.
