1955 – Glen Nunweiler – 2021
Glen Allan Nunweiler, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the age of 65 years, beloved husband of Faye Nunweiler of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory three children, Stacey Nunweiler (Tristan Perry), Cindy (Paul) Raiwet and Scott (Shelly) Nunweiler; eight grandchildren, Maheer, Hannah, Katelyn, Owen, Luke, Logan, Jackson and Madisen. He was predeceased by his parents Anne and Fred Nunweiler. Born on July 6, 1955 in Eatonia, Saskatchewan, Glen was raised on a grain farm a mile west of Laporte, Saskatchewan. Following high School he attended the University of Saskatoon where he met his wife, Faye. They married on October 2, 1976 and he completed his University schooling in 1978. They returned to the farm where they raised their three children; Stacey was born in 1979, Cindy in 1982 and Scott in 1983. In 1993, they moved to Kindersley to be closer to their off the farm jobs. Along with farming, Glen worked at Sask Pension in the winter. In 2011, Glen retired from farming and they moved to Medicine Hat where they have resided since. While living in Medicine Hat, he enjoyed biking, golfing, and wine with Faye at 5 o’clock. His favorite time was spent with his family in Elbow at the cabin as well as travelling. He also loved woodworking and boating. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. Family and friends are invited to remotely attend the funeral service by searching for the Pattison Funeral Home youtube page where the video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time.
