Frances was born March 30, 1937 in Empress, Alberta. She was the third youngest of twelve children. On November 24, 1956 she married Allan Maser. Together they were dedicated parents to their children’s many sporting and educational pursuits. During their nearly 50 years of marriage, they treasured time spent with family, friends, camping, trips to the Moose and stopping over for a coffee and visit.
Frances was known for her kind, caring and generous nature. Following Allan’s passing in 2005, Frances demonstrated admirable strength and independence. She enjoyed cruising, taking bus tours to different destinations and watching the Toronto Blue Jays. As an avid Jays fan, Frances was always up to speed on baseball news and how the Jays were doing. Some of her favourite pastimes included playing Bingo, and meeting friends for coffee in the mall food court. She lived well and simply, demonstrating to those around her the importance of enjoying the little things.
