Esther Hurlbert of Medicine Hat passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at the age of 94 years, beloved wife of the late Gordon Hurlbert. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Wayne (Marianne) Hurlbert of Fruitvale, British Columbia, Marilyn Ambrosi and Gary (Madeleine) Hurlbert all of Medicine Hat; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Gladys Schneider; her special friend, Lynne Carter and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, August and Katherine Schneider; her husband, Gordon on September 4, 1992 and eight brothers and sisters. Special thanks to Dr. Doug Mastel, Marg, and Alison for the extra care given over the years, as well as nurses and staff on 5W for their care in the past few weeks. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Pollard officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
