1925 ~ Edgar Ziegler ~ 2021

Edgar Ziegler of Medicine Hat passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 95 years, beloved husband of the late Clara Ziegler. He leaves to cherish his memory seven children, Gerald Ziegler, Howard Ziegler, Niel (Charlene) Ziegler, Donna (Don) Sarpalius, Randy (Marie) Ziegler, Robert (Brenda) Ziegler and Wayne (Gina) Ziegler and all their families as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Louisa Ziegler; his wife, Clara on April 14, 2004 and two brothers, Carl and William. Edgar was born in Helendahl, Russia on May 5, 1925. He immigrated to Canada with his parents, William and Louisa Ziegler in 1928. Edgar grew up in Richmound, Saskatchewan where he received his education. He moved to Medicine Hat in 1945 and worked at various jobs until he married Clara Greenstein in 1953. They moved to their farm in Richmound where they farmed until 1988 and then returned to Medicine Hat. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m with Life Celebrant, Pat Grisonich. You are invited to remotely attend the funeral service by searching for the Pattison Funeral Home youtube page where the video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time.
