Dorothea "Doris" Horeth

Dorothea ‘Doris’ Horeth of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at the age of 92 years, beloved wife of the late George Horeth. She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Linda (Barry) Crowther of Medicine Hat, Rosanne (Gary) Bierback of Seven Persons, Irene (Hal) Fode of Medicine Hat, and Delores (Eric) Hagglund of Calgary; seven grandchildren, Marc Crowther, Matthew (Erica) Crowther, Landon (Brittany) Hagglund, Ryan Fode, Brennan Hagglund (Julia Nicholson), Kyle Fode (Rebecca Phillips), Spencer Bierback (Toree Bonagofsky); five great grandchildren, Kaleb Hagglund, Madalyn Hagglund, Hank Crowther, Eddie Crowther, Niels Crowther, one sister-in-law, Ann Poersch and many nieces and nephews in Canada, Germany and Austria. Doris was predeceased by her husband George Horeth on January 31, 1985; her parents, Martin and Karoline Fritsch, one brother, Martin Fritsch, three sisters, Rosina Nief, Maria Nief, and Katherine Bohm; four sisters-in-law; Rose Janisch, Mary Conners, Margaret Hittel, and Katie Horeth. Being with her family was her greatest joy, whether it was camping, birthdays, visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren or going out for lunch. She enjoyed baking, cooking, knitting and crocheting for us all. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, from 1:00 p.m to 1:55 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
