Mrs. Doris Corcoran of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Buster Corcoran, passed away on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 on her 91st birthday. Doris leaves to cherish her memory her children, Sandra (Clinton) Tucker of New Brunswick, Brenda Corcoran of Medicine Hat, Joan Caldwell of Lethbridge, and Gene (Lola) Corcoran of Medicine Hat; her 12 grandchildren, Brenda, Darren, Paula, Robert, Lori, Anne, Evan, Joey Lynn, Michael, James, Marty, and Laurabeth; and by three sisters, Mable, Betty and Mona. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Buster; by one daughter, Patricia Doyle; one grandson, Kevin; five brothers, Willard, Burton, Ronnie, Syd and Lloyd; and two sisters, Rhoda and Melva. Originally from McKinleyville, New Brunswick, she and her husband moved to Medicine Hat in 1988 eventually bringing all of their children with them. She loved to dance to western music, clogging, street dancing, and line dancing. Doris had to lead and she lived to dance! One of Doris’ favorite quotes was “I might be small, but I am mighty!” She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Murray Chapter. Doris received the honour of being elected as Worthy Matron. A private family Graveside Service was held at SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY, on Monday, November 20th, 2017.
