Doreen Cazes of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Cecil “Clair” Cazes, passed away on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 at the age of 82 years. Doreen leaves to cherish her memory her children, Douglas Cazes, Tammy (John) Kenny, Wade (Emily) Cazes, Danita (Harvey) Grovet and Kimberley (John) Belinsky; daughter-in-law, Linda Cazes; eleven grandchildren, Jeffrey (Jenelle) Cazes and their children, Bexton and Haisley, Brittany (Justin) Klein and their son, Nash, Mykel Cazes, J. Christopher Kenny, Ashley (Rohan) Bachhal and their daughter, Celine, Juliette Cazes, Lucy Cazes, Serena Grovet, Luke Grovet, Christian Belinsky and Kennedy Belinsky; two brothers, Wesley (Joyce) and Andy (Gladys); two sisters, Ann Bell and Ruby Huber; one sister-in-law, Marion B.; numerous nieces and nephews; and was a foster mother to over 60 foster children. Doreen was predeceased by her husband, Clair Cazes; her first baby, Theresa Ann in infancy; her son, Arthur Cazes; granddaughter, Alexandria; parents, Constantine “Gus” and Flora Banilevic; one brother, Steve; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Bell and Alfred Huber. The family would like to extend a grateful thank you to the Medicine Hat Special Transit. They went above and beyond for our mother and grandmother.

“I am in awe how Jesus took this little girl, me, Doreen, and led me in the life that I myself am amazed, but have seen His love, presence and guidance and direction and lead me all the way. We will meet again in the resurrection morning.”
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at HILLCREST EVANGELICAL MISSIONARY CHURCH, 3785 – 13th Avenue SE, on Saturday, March 14th, 2020 from 2:00 until 2:55 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at HILLCREST EVANGELICAL MISSIONARY CHURCH, on Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Tyler Rosengren officiating. Interment will take place on Sunday, March 15th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosedale Cemetery, 1804 Caribou Street West, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Memorial gifts in Doreen’s memory may be made to the Higher Ground Christian School, 1 Shirley Street SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 8N5.
