Donald “Wayne” Townsend passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the age of 69 years, beloved husband of Mary Townsend of Medicine Hat. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, David (Sue) Townsend of Redcliff and Tamara Plante (Tim Atwell) of Medicine Hat; six grandchildren, Allynna Moss-Jette, Chelsea Townsend, Ryan Townsend, Zachary Townsend, Amber Townsend and Halie Plante; two great grandchildren, Bryleigh and Jaliylah Townsend; his son-in-law Ken Plante; four brothers, Donnie (Marilyn) Winters, Tony Robinson, Robert Robinson, and Kevin (Margaret) Robinson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Hazel & Norman Robinson and his twin brother David Townsend.
