Mrs. Dolores Alida Brooks, beloved wife of the late Mr. Orvil Brooks, passed away peacefully in Medicine Hat on Friday, May 31, 2019, at the age of 87 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: James (Lori) of Shannonville; Karen Claus (Paul) of Deseronto; Carl (late Marion) of Northbrook; Clarke (Carolyn) of Lyn; Lorna Mason (Alexander) of Medicine Hat; Greg (Kelly); Scott (Darlene) and Daryl of Napanee. Dolores is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren as well as her siblings, Carrie Davey (Robert) of Napanee and the late Margaret Howell; Donald; Edmund and Helen Furse. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, 123 Dundas Street West, Napanee, Ontario, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A service celebrating Dolores’ life will be held at the Hannah Funeral Home on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. with interment following at the Riverview Cemetery.
