Dollie Aman, beloved wife of Bev Aman of Medicine Hat, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the age of 86 years. Dollie also leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Pam (Randy) Gruber; her daughter-in-law, Denise Aman; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; her sisters, Annie Metz, Eileen Edler, Jean Fandrich, Hazel Frank; her sisters-in-law, Zonia Tokamp and Marilyn Tokamp; and her in-laws, Rocky (Merlynne) Aman and Joyce Aman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dollie was predeceased by her sons, Robert Aman and Michael Aman; her daughter, Susan Aman; her grandson, Travis Aman; parents, John and Christine Tokamp; brothers, John Tokamp and Jerry Tokamp; her sister, Irene Switzer, and her brothers-in-law, Glen Switzer, Dave Metz, Ray Edler, Lloyd Frank and Dennis Aman. Dollie was born on September 27, 1938, in Medicine Hat where she was raised and educated. She married Bev on February 22, 1963. Dollie enjoyed life on the farm and was always hard working until her and Bev retired into the city in 1988. She quite enjoyed her leisure time, coffee time with family and friends, and baking for her grandchildren. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease and spent the last eight years of her life in Good Samaritans and lastly South Country Village. She still enjoyed outings with family and of course going out for her favourite meal, Chinese food. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, Pat Grisonich, officiating.
