Debra “Deb” “Debbie” Robin Mann (nee: Dallard) of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at the age of 57 years, beloved mother to her four children, Jamie (Kevin) Wlock (their children Kylan and Klara); Jeremy Dallard, Joalee Dallard (Alex Zanidean) and Jesse Dallard; her mother Helen Dallard of Medicine Hat; her brother Darcy (Darlene) Dallard and their children Dalyce (Todd) Schofield (Hailey and Ava); Devon Dallard (Kristen Westby); her sister, Dianne (Mark) Gilchrist and their children Ian Gilchrist and Cameron Gilchrist. She was predeceased by her father Donald in 1991. Deb was born June 8, 1959 at Prelate, Saskatchewan where she was raised. In 1973, she moved with her family to Medicine Hat where she finished her schooling at Crescent Heights High School. She began her life long love of music on the piano at the age of six. After they moved to Medicine Hat she learned how to play the guitar, and while taking lessons she helped teach other students. Music became her career; she taught at the United Conservatory of Music and in 1995, she started her own business “Music in the Making”. She taught until ill health forced her to stop. Throughout her busy musical life, she also raised four children and was involved in many community groups. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5 or to Carmel Hospice (St. Joseph’s Home) c/o 156 – 3 St. NE, Medicine Hat, T1A 5M1.
