It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Darryl French of Medicine Hat on Sunday, January 28th, at the age of 51 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his best friend, Donna Cullins of 30 years; step-sons, Jacy (Megan), Jady; step-daughter, Sherry (Hugh); grandchildren, Michelle, Jullian, Ashlee, Esmae, Jayden. He also leaves to mourn, his parents, Alvin and Joyce French of Redcliff; four sisters, Judy (Brian), Fay (Paul), Lorraine, Debbie (Marshall); as well as many nieces and nephews. Darryl will also be sadly missed by Dean and Greg. Darryl was born in Halifax, N.S. due to being raised in a military family, he had the opportunity to travel across Canada. Once dad retired they lived in Simpson, SK for 6 years and moved to Medicine Hat where he resided until the present. Darryl worked at Redcliff IXL Brick Plant and Lakeside meat plant. His favorite passions was fishing and the love of his pets. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Redcliff Royal Canadian Legion, 302 Broadway Avenue East, Redcliff on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Darryl’s name may be made to the S.P.C.A., S.P.C.A., 55 Southview Drive SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8.
