On a beautiful and sunny April 29, 2017, at the tender age of 58 years., Darlene Helen Meier (nee Glass), passed away from her brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family as they loaned her their strength to continue on her journey. Darlene was a vibrant, free spirit who loved to travel, crochet and listen to music. Nothing brought her more joy then spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Darlene is survived by her daughters, Shannon (Paul) Richardson, Serena (Mark) Dale, Jennifer (Cory) Nobel and her only son, Daniel Richardson; grandchildren, Dylan, Téa and Dreyson Kuiper; Callum Richardson, Kegin and Tanayna Dale and Matthew Nobel; great-grandchildren, Raelan and Boston Kuiper; siblings, Brian, June, Malcolm, Russell and their families. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Jean Glass. A Celebration of Darlene’s life will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017.
