Clara Marion Vaessen passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at the age of 87 years, beloved wife of the late Paul Martin Vaessen. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Deborah Wiebe, Paula Vaessen, Carla (Craig) Babcock, Neil (fiancé, Cindy Bard) Vaessen and Mark Vaessen; her grandchildren, Nicole (Steve), Kari (Chris), Angela (Deb), Drew (Rae), Jason (Julia), Jamie (Matthew), Amanda, Jordan and Kelsey as well as her great grandchildren, Reyd, Jorja, Anya, Kali, Katie, Hanna, Jaime, Jordon, Lola, Olivia, Ryan, Adam, Mason, Nolan, and Levi; her sisters, Josephine Beck, Lena Koehler, Jean (Marvin) Fischer. She was predeceased by her parents Annie and Jacob Haas; her husband, Paul, on October 28, 2009; her son-in-law, Gord Wiebe; her brother, John Haas; her sisters, Isabella Vaessen, and Mary Gehring.
A family celebration will be held at a later date.
