1930 ~ Tinie” Hillman ~ 2020
Christine (Tinie) Hillman of Burdett, has gone home to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 3rd, 2020. She was born May 5, 1930 and was raised between Burdett, and Abbotsford, BC. She met and then married William Hillman on May 26, 1954 and they moved to Redcliff where they raised their six children. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill and her grandson
Dallas Hillman.
Christine leaves to cherish her memory six children, Linda (Ron) Schiebelbein, Valerie Hillman, Bill Hillman, Karen (Stan) Kuntz, John (Gloriann) Hillman and Pat (Henry) Kielstra; her grandchildren, Jason and his children, Aryanna, Ethan and Brynn; Cory (Lauren) and their children McKenna and Rylie; Chad (Keri) and their son Kaid; Amber (Denis) and their son Nick; Rachel (Matt), Jon; Rebekah; Jessie (Rob) and their children Kord and Shylo; Maria (Cole) and their children Kaiden, Ava, Raya and Jude; Missy (Tyler); Landon (Renee) and their children Brayden, Eli and Addisyn; Nikki (Bernis); Danny (Karla); Hunter; Ciara; Chrissy; and Ally.
Christine loved to work with her hands and was so very talented. Whether it was making things or working in her garden she brought joy to all she did. Her love of the outdoors and all it had to offer brought her peace and she shared that with her family. Her greatest gift was a life of service. She was a faithful servant to both her Lord and her family. The very quiet essence of her was grace… Grace in all things, joy, peace and through tragedy. She taught through words and example how to accept life and all it brings. She taught her family to stand tall, to believe, to trust, and most of all to
kneel with head bent to allow God… Christine will be sadly missed but forever held close in our hearts.
Interment will take place at Redcliff Cemetery with the funeral service for family to follow in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rick Roeda officiating.
