Christina Resch

Christina Josephine Resch, beloved wife of the late Frank Resch, passed away peacefully at South Country Village in Medicine Hat on Friday, January 27, 2023, at the age of 102 years. Christina was the eldest daughter of ten children of Frank and Florentina Miller. Left to cherish Christina’s memory are three children: Pauline (Valentine) Eresman, Melvin (Diane) Resch and Richard (Myrna) Resch; five granddaughters, Glennda Resch (Sheldon Mann), Carla (Blaine) Bischoff, Candice (Darcy) Koch, Aryan Resch and Marla Resch (Wade Grover); eight great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Susan (George) Costea, Lena Eresman and Violet (Edwin) Fischer; brother, Leonard Miller as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with Frank, Christina was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Florentina Miller; daughter in infancy, Mathilda; teenaged son, Randy; five brothers, John, Jack, David, Walter and Frank as well as numerous in-laws and other extended family. Family wish to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the South Country Village staff and Dr. Monty for the excellent care provided to their Mom and Grandma. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 1451 Strachan Road S.E., Medicine Hat on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Naveed Arif celebrant. Interment will take place in the Leader Cemetery at a future date.
