1933 ~ Floyd Ronan ~ 2021

Charles Floyd Ronan passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the age of 88 years, beloved husband of Dolores Ronan of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Colin (Colleen) Ronan of Airdrie and Kevin (Shilpa) Ronan of Lethbridge; as well as one grandchild, Kieran Ronan. He was predeceased by his parents, Martha and Charles Ronan; his brother, Fred Ronan; and two sisters, Alice Verhaest and Millie Rhodes. Floyd was born on January 21, 1933 in Medicine Hat where he married Dolores Saklofsky on December 21, 1957. Floyd was Past President of the Saamis Rotary Club and was a Director with the Medicine Hat Stampede and the Kinsmen Club. A private family funeral service will be held in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. Due to the restrictions brought forward by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, indoor public gatherings are to be kept to 50 people. Masks are mandatory. The service will be live streamed, and family and friends who are unable to attend are invited to watch the service by searching for the Pattison Funeral Home Youtube page. The video will go live 10 minutes prior to service time and will remain on the youtube page for future viewing. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Floyd with a donation, may do so to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Education Centre, or The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
