Born and raised in Medicine Hat, Chandra Muszko is looking to give back to the community.

She decided to run for Medicine Hat Public School board of trustees commented on her passion for her own and children, asking her to transfer that passion to many more children. She has an education in psychological studies and has instructed children in several small-scale lessons.

Muszko says she stands for individual rights, freedoms and equality. She says that means freedom of bodily autonomy when it comes to an experimental medical intervention, as well as freedom of speech to be able to voice concerns, opinions, and raise questions in order to seek education and answers without fear of shame or retribution from those who oppose.

Priorty areas for Muszko are health and safety, transparency and honesty within the education system and inclusive education.

She says utilizing different teaching techniques, more manageable class sizes, adequate and relevant teaching materials, and identifying student challenges, can make learning more accessible to the student.
