It is with great sadness that we announce that Chad Elliot Lesko, passed away at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 15, 2025. He was only 46 years old. Chad is survived and missed by his loving wife, Carrie (nee Grieves) and their children, Brody and Skylar. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Helen Lesko; brother, Damien and his children, Samantha and Owen; sister, Chelsea (Dylan) Tivadar and their children, Allie and Evan; mother- in-law, Bev Palamarchuk; brothers-in-law, Chris Grieves and Colin Grieves as well as numerous aunts, uncles and their families. Chad was predeceased by his father, Larry Lesko. Chad was born on July 22, 1979, in Medicine Hat where he lived his entire life. He was a hard worker and dedicated over 20 years to the construction field, framing both residential and commercial buildings. He was very proud of his work and loved to point out all the houses/structures around the city that he helped build throughout his career. When not working, Chad enjoyed games night with his family and friends, travelling, golfing, yard work or just relaxing outside in the hot sun while he played with the family dog. A private celebration of Chad’s life will be held on August 20, 2025, for close family and friends. The family would like to thank all of the amazing medical staff who have worked with Chad in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and St. Joseph’s Carmel Hospice.
