Carson Cleaver-Bueckert
June 29, 2004 ~ May 8, 2023
Carson Raymond Michael Cleaver-Bueckert of Burdett passed away unexpectedly while home on the farm on Monday, May 8, 2023, at the age of 18 years. Carson was born on June 29th, 2004, in Medicine Hat with a full head of beautiful, brown, curly hair and a dimple on his chin. He was a happy, gentle child who was full of love and laughter. Carson lived in Medicine Hat until the age of 8 when he and his family moved to Burdett to live on the Bueckert Family Farm. Carson attended St. Michael’s School and Senator Gershaw in Bow Island where he played basketball, volleyball and was a member of the North 40 Mile 4-H Club. He loved trips to Carievale to Grandma and Grandpa’s farm, walking through Grandma’s “forest” and eating “truck waffles” out of Grandpa’s truck. Carson loved playing with all of his cousins, big and small. He also loved listening to Grandma and Grandpa Bueckert’s stories, working with them on the farm and exploring the coulees at the Manyberries ranch. Carson enjoyed his many adventures with the Cleaver family which included trips to the mountains, camping and cruising around in the old car. After graduation in 2022, Carson attended Mount Royal University where he was working to obtain an English Degree. He was a fantastic writer and had yet to determine which direction his writing would take him; but he knew it would be meaningful and passionate. Carson was an incredible son, brother, grandson and cousin as well as a kind, caring friend. He was a person you could always depend on whether it be a lending hand, a good laugh or a piece of advice. Carson is survived by his parents, Christa (Franz) Bueckert and Dave (Julie) Cleaver; siblings, Shelby, Colton (Keisha), Clarissa and step-brother, Zachary; grandparents, Michael and Anne Taylor, Franz and Anna Bueckert, Fran and Shirley Dirkson; aunts and uncles, Charneal Taylor, Jacob and Carolyn Bueckert, James and Helena Waldner; cousins, Bailey Kozma, Dallas, Jessie and Elissa Bueckert, Brayden and Payten Waldner and niece, Evelyn Cleaver as well as numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
